Weblogs als eine Form von Web 2.0-Anwendungen haben in den letzten Jahren ein rasantes Wachstum erlebt. Gab es Ende der 1990er Jahre nur eine Handvoll Weblogs, stieg ihre Zahl bis 2007 weltweit auf rund 70 Millionen. Vom Phänomen Weblog sind Menschen verschiedenster Alters- und Berufsgruppen fasziniert. Dennoch ist die Nutzung dieses recht jungen Mediums durch bestimmte Personengruppen bisher wenig empirisch untersucht worden.Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit widmet sich im Speziellen Weblogs von Lehrern und untersucht, inwiefern sich ihre Weblog-Nutzung von anderen Usern dieser Web 2.0-Anwendung unterscheidet, was sie zum Bloggen motiviert, worüber sie bloggen und welche Funktionen und psychologischen Bedürfnisse dabei erfüllt werden. Um möglichst aussagekräftige Ergebnisse zu erhalten, wurde im empirischen Teil der Arbeit auf einen Methoden-Mix aus einer Inhaltsanalyse von Lehrer-Weblogs und einer Online-Umfrage unter bloggenden Lehrern zurückgegriffen.

Was man aus einem Artikel via Video alles machen kann: Hier der Original-Artikel von Stephen Downes aus dem Frühjahr 2008, hier das coole Update. Den Link bei Stephen hab ich via Apture eingefügt, womit wir beim Thema Tools wären, hier die Vorschau auf 2009 und die coolsten Tools für eLearner, wobei ich über Platz 1 für CoolIris überrascht war. Aber auf einem schnellen Rechner ist es der Hit!
